Automation, Big Data and the Internet are altering society in profound ways and with remarkable speed. We aim to bridge community members with experts to engage in the creation and influence of technology policy at the organizational, local, national and international level.
Education.
CodeColloquy works to get more information about the ways technologies impact an individuals’ day-to-day by hosting book discussions and workshops that educate individuals on AI, IoT, and content moderation. Discussions center around the values and power structures that underlie the design and implementation of technological systems.
Engagement.
The goal of CodeColloquy is to engage people from a range of socioeconomic backgrounds and professional sectors—grand parents, students, sci-fi writers, social workers—in technology policy discourse.
